The Intertextuality In The Creation Of Contemporary Paintings

As one of the characteristics of postmodernist cultural thoughts,the intertextualitytheory has been widely recognized by relevant scholars in Europe and Americasince its birth.As a cross-border theory,intertextuality theory can be used not onlyto analyze literary texts,but also In-depth research,"intertextuality" theory isincreasingly applied to the construction of text in the field of vision,then,how isintertextuality presented in the creation of contemporary painting? What are thetext generation strategies? What practical significance does intertextuality theoryhave for contemporary painting? Based on these problems,this thesis uses theliterature research method,the image comparative analysis method and theinductive method to study the presentation of intertextuality in contemporarypainting creation,and hopes to provide valuable thinking for studyingcontemporary painting.The main body of this paper is developed from five parts: The first partsummarizes the research background and research basis of intertextuality incontemporary painting creation,the research status of intertextuality at home andabroad,the research purpose of this paper and the content of this paper.Thesecond part introduces the background of intertextuality and intertextuality,andmakes a statement on the definition of postmodern context and contemporarypainting.The third part is the presentation strategy of intertextuality incontemporary painting creation.Inductively,starting from the three intertextualstrategies of appropriation,play and rewriting.The fourth part lists MichelinBolimans,Neo Rauch,and Adrian Gurney as examples of their paintings,from thedialogue and difference between the texts.The specific analysis of intertextualityin the process of contemporary painting creation;the fifth step is the reflection and conclusion of the meaning of intertextuality theory on contemporary paintingcreation.In the open structure of contemporary art,we should see that when intertextualitytheory is used to understand and guide contemporary painting creation,we mustnot only see the connection and dialogue between the texts,but also thedifferences between the texts.This difference is formed in the weaving of the textnetwork,and at the same time highlights the wisdom of contemporary paintcreators.The creation of contemporary artists is based on the intertextualstrategies of appropriation,play,and rewriting of traditional historical culture.Atthe same time,it is based on the individual artist's reflection and reflection on theworld in which we exist.They complete dialogues with history and reality inpainting creation,express their personal attitudes and experiences on socialculture from an individual perspective and in a comprehensive painting language,so that there is still limitless possibilities for painting art today.
