Research On Li Jinhui’s Patriotic Songs Creation

Li Jinhui is a controversial composer in the history of modern Chinese music.He created many "first" in the field of music,such as: the first popular song in our country;the first school to train singing and dancing talents in our country;and the establishment of a new genre of children’s song and dance performance music,and so on.After being recognized by the society,he was criticized by the academic circles for writing family love songs,and was under the shackles of "yellow musicians" for nearly a century.Entering the millennium,the academic circles held a symposium to commemorate Li Jinhui.The meeting put forward the view that "commemorating Li Jinhui is even more meaningful than commemorating Huang Zi and Xiao Youmei",which lays the tone of Li Jinhui’s cross-century "yellow" case.After the seminar,the academic circles set off an upsurge in the study of Li’s music.In recent years,most of the research hotspots focus on Li’s song and dance music,but there are few studies on his patriotic music,and the research on Li’s music has not been carried out in an all-round way.This paper consists of three parts: introduction chapter,four main chapters and conclusion,focusing on Li Jinhui’s patriotic music works.The innovation is to find some new historical materials,such as Guan Zhongge,Spring Rain continuous,Blood and Khan,Grain Collection and donation,and so on,which have not appeared in the existing research results.The introduction chapter gives a general introduction to the research background of this topic,including the significance of the topic,literature review and research methods.The first main chapter is divided into three stages: "traditional nourishment period","golden period of creation" and "tortuous second half of life" to make a general introduction to Li Jinhui’s life deeds;the second main chapter makes a general introduction to Li Jinhui’s patriotic sound.The three main creative stages of music works summarize its main creative characteristics and creative activities.The third main chapter focuses on the artistic characteristics of Li’s patriotic music works.The fourth chapter deduces the reasons of Li Jinhui’s sadness in the century from two aspects: the limitation of the times and the limitation of his own.The evaluation of controversial historical figures can not be determined overnight.It is hoped that through the simple combing of Li’s patriotic music works,Li Jinhui’s identity as a patriotic musician can be supported by some historical materials.Restore Li Jinhui to the real face,but also expect scholars from all walks of life to give more comprehensive,meticulous,in-depth attention and research.
