On The Formation And Transformation Of Li Tang's Painting Style

There is an old saying from Wang Shizhen,a master in Ming Dynasty,that during the landcape Painting history,Li Sixun and his father mark a great change,then Jing Hao,Guan Tong,Dong Yuan and Ju Ran,then Li Cheng and Fan Kuan,then Liu Songnian,Li Tang,Ma Yuan and Xia Gui,and Big Obsession Huang Gongwang and Wangmeng as well.Indeed,the painting style of any era is diverse and varied.In the history of its five-stage development of Chinese landscape paintings each period has appeared different characteristics that distinguished with any other periods,but it seems that apart from Li Tang's vigorous and forcible painting style that started in the Southern Song Dynasty,there is no significant changes in other periods.During its five-stage transformation of the Chinese landscape paintings,only the Li Tang's change in the Southern Song Dynasty marks a qualitative leap in the development of Chinese landscape paintings,of which,it is situation of one independent banner and no other followers.Therefore,it is worthwhile to explore and study the factors that influence the factors of Li Tang landscape paintings style as a sudden change of being the unification of Northern Song Dynasty to this situation of the Southern Song Dynasty.With regard to the transformation of Li Tang style,the predecessors‘study is mostly measured and considered from the political concept,and there is not much discussion about the independence of artistic creation itself and other potential factors.However,in the later time,some scholars take an exploration and analysis about the reasons for the transformationof Li Tang's painting style from personal subjective emotions,or from a single prospective and their studies are quite fruitful,but this is so limited as the only factor for the transformation of Li Tang's painting style.The author believes that the factors affecting the style change must be diverse.Although the influence factor is different,only by integrating these factors can form the full strength of promoting the transformation of Li Tang's painting style.Therefore,this article does not explore the reasons for the transformation of Li Tang's painting style only from a certain aspect,but based on the subject and object and from the self-discipline of art,the background of the times,social factors,regional differences,personal emotional factors,philosophical influence,etc.for analyzing the reasons for the formation and transformation of Li Tang's painting style and being devoted to conducting a comprehensive analysis of its influence factor?Taking consideration of the study of the reasons of the formation and transformation of Li Tang's painting style,the author mainly applies the literature research method,sorts out the relevant ancient books,explores and discusses it from multiple angles and aspects.The first chapter of this paper briefly describes the origin and development of Chinese landcape painting;the second chapter briefly discusses the life of Li Tang;the third chapter introduces the formation and transformation of Li Tang's painting style;the fourth chapter analyzes the factors that influence the formation and transformation of style;the fifth chapter illustrates the status of Li Tang's painting style in the history of landcape painting and its influence on later generations.
