This paper explores the current situation of college students' emotional intelligence,positive personality and leadership practice,and studies the relationship between them,so as to provide scientific guidance and Suggestions for colleges to better cultivate college students' leadership practice,and increase the quality education of college students' emotional intelligence and positive personality.Using the Emotional Intelligence Scale,the College Student Positive Character Scale and Student Leadership Practices Inventory-Self Instrument,1282 college students,undergraduate and postgraduate students from 29 colleges and universities were selected for questionnaire survey through stratified random sampling.The results are as follows:1.The College students' emotional intelligence is generally at a medium high level.There are no significant differences in the emotional intelligence of college students in terms of gender,political status and major type,but there are significant differences in the places of origin,whether they are the only child,whether they serve as student leaders and types of students.Specifically,the total scores of emotional intelligence of urban college students are higher than those of rural college students,the total scores of emotional intelligence of only-child college students are higher than those of non-only-child college students,the total scores of emotional intelligence of college students who served as student cadres are higher than those of college students who did not serve as student cadres,and the total scores of emotional intelligence of junior college students and postgraduates were higher than those of undergraduates.2.The College students' positive personality is generally at a medium high level.There are no significant differences in the positive personality of college students in terms of gender,place of origin,whether they are the only child,political status and type of major,but there are significant differences in whether they serve as student cadres and types of students.Specifically,the total score of positive personality of college students who hold the post of student cadre is higher than that of college students who do not hold the post of student cadre,and the total score of positive personality of junior college students and postgraduates is higher than that of undergraduates.3.The College students' leadership practice is generally at a medium high level.There are no significant differences in the leadership practice of college students in terms of gender,whether they are the only child or not,and the type of major,while there is significant difference in terms of the place of origin,whether they serve as student cadres,political status and the type of students.Specifically,the total score of leadership practice behavior of urban college students is greater than that of rural college students,and the total score of positive personality of college students who are student cadres is higher than that of college students who do not serve as student cadres,the total score of leadership practice behavior of college students of CPC members is higher than that of college students with political status as members of the communist youth league and the masses,and the total score of leadership practice of postgraduates is higher than that of junior college students and undergraduates.4.There is a significant positive correlation between college students' emotional intelligence and leadership practice behaviors.There is a significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and positive personality of college students.There is a significant positive correlation between college students' positive personality and leadership practice.5.The College students' emotional intelligence can significantly predict leadership practice behavior,the college students' emotional intelligence can significantly predict positive personality,the college students' positive personality can significantly predict leadership practice behavior,the college students' emotional intelligence and positive personality can also significantly predict leadership practice behavior6.The College students' positive personality played a partial mediating role between emotional intelligence and leadership practice,and the mediating effect accounted for 58.86% of the total effect.Emotional intelligence can not only directly influence college students' leadership practice,but also indirectly influence college students' leadership practice through positive personality.At present,the leadership practice of college students needs to be improved.It is feasible and reasonable to influence and improve the leadership practice of college students from the aspects of emotional intelligence and positive personality.
