In recent years,"design thinking" has been gradually regarded as a"design-driven innovation" business tool from a "process-oriented" design approach.However,if we view how that "design thinking" processes reshape and enhance the psychological factors and cognitive structure of participants,we will find that "design thinking" is not just a way to promote innovation,but also a working method that encourages team members to play the positive abilities of "empathy","learning" and"collaboration".This article views "design thinking" as a integral thinking training about "learning how to learn" and presents a research framework called"design thinking based on learning theory" and also sets up a design experiment called "social design workshop".The analysis and criticism of literature research in this paper are around the contemporary design environment,the trend of change,as well as the self-cultivation of current design talents and so on.At the same time,in order to discuss paper content and workshop,this paper quotes the academic research theories and cases studies related to "environmental psychology","empathy" and "learning model" in "cognitive psychology"and "learning theory".The design experiment is based on the cases of the "Summer Design Thinking Workshop"(case of 2016)with Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan to study the following five skills "communication","learning","creativity","collaboration" as the evaluation of experimental benefits to re-prove "learning theory" and "design thinking" have positive relationship in between.This workshop also used the "generic framework for the design innovation process" as the guide of innovative tools.This paper will clarify how the participants can inspire their abilities in team awareness,creativity,and confidence to face the real problems through the training process of "design thinking based on learning theory"and "social design workshop".
