Application Of Soft Sculpture In Public Space

Soft sculpture is a new form and new expression of the development of sculpture art.It uses fiber material as the medium to create the shape from the plane to the three-dimensional space,and presents a new art field.The charm of soft sculpture is not only the breakthrough in styling,but also the semantic expression of its material itself.Artists highlight the essence of their materials through different artistic techniques,and integrate rich colors color and texture and texture into soft sculptures,so that soft sculptures have unique unique aesthetic connotations.At the same time,soft sculpture is also a combination of artist's emotion and material craftsmanship,which conveys the artist's thoughts,emotions,reflections on life and society,and thus affects the viewer's spiritual consciousness.With the advancement of science and technology and the comprehensive development of public art,people's pursuit of public space environment and aesthetics is constantly improving,and the decorative elements accompanying materials are increasingly integrated into public space design,such as ceramics,fabrics,glass and wrought iron.Etc.,promoted the better development of public space decorative arts.The three-dimensional form of soft sculpture is characterized by its plasticity,softness and warmth.Because of its strong natural affinity,soft sculptures have been widely used in public spaces.At the same time,it can form a benign interaction with the public space,so that the bluntness,icy and grayness of the materials in the modern public space are improved,making up for the lack of artistic and humanistic atmosphere in the space environment,thus creating a new aesthetic of visual art.The soft sculpture and the public space present a "symbiotic" relationship,based on the forward-looking nature of soft sculpture in the design of public space,and the analysis of the theory and practice of the function and creation principle of soft sculpture can guide the modern public space to artistic and human culture.The development of the trend,the relationship between the coordinator and the public space,promotes the aesthetic and spiritual integration of the public space art.This paper studies the application of soft sculpture in public space design,mainly from the following aspects:(1)Firstly,the relevant theoretical concepts are defined,and the artistic characteristics and creative forms of soft sculptures,the salient features and development of public spaces are analyzed;(2)Based on the uniqueness of materials in soft sculpture creation,the paper analyzes the heterogeneous materials of soft sculpture and summarizes the application and expression of soft sculpture material texture and color in public space;(3)Explain the uniqueness of soft sculpture materials in public space,the interaction between the two,and the application value of soft sculptures in public space;through the analysis of actual cases,further summarize the unique functions of soft sculptures in public space.Discuss the design principles of soft sculpture in public space;(4)Applying soft sculpture to the author's graduation design,and perceiving the charm of soft sculpture in a practical way there is a period behind the charm.
