An Research On The Cultural Values Of Chinese Domestic Situation Comedy

Sitcom is a form of comedy performance,belonging to the category of "TV series",originated in the United States.The pioneering work of China's domestic sitcoms is "I Love My Family",which was broadcasted in 1993,and the peak stage appeared at the beginning of the new millennium in the 21 st century.From the peak stage to now,the development of domestic sitcoms has been in little optimism.Therefore,this study studies domestically produced sitcoms from the perspective of values,and hopes to find out the problems from the perspective of values and put forward targeted suggestions.This paper takes the theory of "cultivation" as the theoretical basis,adopts a comparative research method,takes the domestic sitcom as the research object,and takes the domestic sitcom ranking list made by Douban movie website as the reference index.The first 8 and the last 10 are obtained.The first 8 dramas are group A,which represents the episodes that most viewers recognize and love,and then use stratified random sampling to obtain 247 episodes;the last 10 dramas are group which represents 247 episodes that have not been recognized and loved by most viewers.In exploring the presentation of the cultural values,Rokeach's worldwide used value survey scale is taken as reference.When classifying the collected items,classification of cultural values by Yang Guoshu,Lin Xinping,Cai Jialing and others is used as reference.Ultimately,these values are divided into personal values,family values,social values and love values.Through research,it is found that the type of social values in domestic sitcoms are in high proportion;Some episodes are only funny and do not convey specific values,and there are many plots of vulgarity,violence and nonsense among them;It is found that some of the audience's recognized and loved episodes have negative values such as self-interest,while parents altruism account for more in episodes that most viewers do not recognize;Some sample showed that there is a disconnect between the plot and the reality,the plot was old-fashioned,and the contradiction was deliberate.After analyzing the data,values problems of Chinese domestic sitcoms can be found,and they are divided into the level of connotation and the presentation of values,and then targeted solutions are made regarding these problems.
