| In addition to“motivation”,aptitude is regarded as the most influential factor of learner’s individual difference.The foreign related research is in full swing,but the domestic research is insufficient.In this paper,we choose the language students of Shanghai Jiao Tong University as the subjects,and choose the K·Johnson’s version of the MLAT Aptitude Test as the research tool,there are the mainly discusses:1.To understand the aptitude status of the language students of Shanghai Jiao Tong University though MLAT Aptitude Test Scale;2.Whether there is correlation between the results of the Aptitude Test and the level of Chinese,and if so,what is the correlation;3.Whether there are differences in the four aptitude modules of the subjects,if they exist,what are the specific performance;4.What is the relationship between working memory and the oral Chinese level and language aptitude.It is hoped that the study of the language aptitude will reveal the status of the subjects,and reveal the relationship between the language aptitude and Chinese learning achievement、working memory.Through the investigation,we found that the overall language aptitudet level of the subjects is in the medium level,but there are individual differences in the four module,teachers could change their teaching method in the specific teaching according to the differences.The language aptitude of the subjects can be significantly correlated with their intensive Chinese reading and Chinese listening performance,but not related to their oral English achievement.This shows that the language aptitude test can not consider the communicative competence of learners.Working memory can process and store information at the same time.It is highly correlated with the language aptitude of the subjects and the level of spoken Chinese.In order to make up for the shortcomings of the existing language aptitude test,we can consider working memory into the constituent elements of linguistic energy. |
