The Aesthetic Study Of Calligraphy Of "Child Style" Under The Tradition Of Stele Learning

At present,Xie Wuliang,Xu Shengweng and other people’s "Child Style" calligraphy has become hot,"child style " is exactly what,but there is no saying.Based on the development of aesthetic ideal of Qing Dynasty stele school calligraphy,the theory of " Child Style" in Qing Dynasty and the creation of Xu Shengweng and other calligraphers,the author makes a brief summary of the quality and spirit of " Child Style" on the basis of history."Child Style" Calligraphy is the combination of Stele School Calligraphy and the traditional concept of "the Heart of a Child".In the Qing Dynasty,stele-school calligraphy emerged,learning from folk stele editions of Han and Wei Dynasty,taking the ancient seal and Li scripts as the form carrier,writing the strong,simple and naive spirit.Naive style,did not achieve success in the Qing Dynasty.The library style that imperial examination must use exerts a subtle influence on the rational formation of literati’s subconscious,which makes the selection and creation of tablet editions of Han and Wei Dynasties by the calligraphers of the Qing Dynasty tablet school have a sense of tightness of library style and refinement of postscript study,which makes it difficult to be simple and naive.Nevertheless,in all periods of the Qing Dynasty,there were calligraphers who praised the beauty of naivety and made theoretical guidance for artistic creation,which was the theoretical guide of " Child Style".While advocating "Four Nings and Four Seals",Fu Shan did not forget to cherish "Tianni",which can be said to be the basic requirement of the shape and quality of " Child Style";while Qian Yong advocated the ancient law of seal and Li,he boldly put forward the "seal spirit" of children,which is the original meaning of " Child Style" and needs further artistic standardization;Zhao Zhiqian put forward that children’s books are the highest,and "return to old age and children".” Liu Xizai put forward that books like raising babies should be as hypocritical and natural as babies,true and fake as babies,which can be said to be the psychological requirement of " Child Style".After the abolition of the imperial examination,Shen Zengzhi’s pursuit of life and Qingdao people’s creation of inscriptions on tablets almost completely segregated in form and quality have shown some rare "naive" flavor.And the most important writers who truly embody the extreme of naivety and nature are Qi Baishi,Xu Shengweng,Xie Wuliang and Zhao Lengyue."Child style " needs to revert to the artistic life experience,astringent brushwork and abrupt quality.In terms of art,Xu Shengweng is the most successful " Child Style" calligrapher.Zhao Lengyue’s artistic creation symbolizes the birth of " Child Style" in modern sense.
