With the improvement of China's national strength and international status,China's move has drawn international attention.The remarks and speculations about China's values and roads are in full swing.It is urgent to retake the discourse right and enounce the information globally.The Chinese national leaders represented by Xi Jinping put forward the idea of "telling good stories and spreading vigorous voices about China" so as to establish the national image and better the international identification.Xi Jinping is both a proponent,advocate and a firm practitioner.As an expert on public relations both inside and outside,he tells the story of China on many occasions and becomes a model of storytelling.The combination of public relations and rhetoric enriches and develops the theory of public relations and provides new ideas for public relations practice.This study focuses on Xi Jinping's discourse texts on Chinese stories,using public relations rhetoric theory to explore his public relations rhetorical strategies for telling and spreading Chinese stories,summarizing the practical experience of public relations rhetoric in the process of inquiry and learning,in order to tell and spread the Chinese story well.Good Chinese voice provides theoretical and empirical lessons.This study is divided into five parts.The first part of the introduction introduces the current background of the times and China's international vocalizations,and introduces Xi Jinping's initiative of "speaking Chinese stories well and spreading Chinese voices",and proposes the topic and research significance of Xi Jinping's public relations discourse rhetoric strategy about Chinese stories.And the description of the research design.The second part of the literature review,combing the relevant research results of scholars at home and abroad,from the historical development of rhetoric theory to the combination of public relations and rhetoric,and then to the academic circles on Xi Jinping's study of Chinese stories,inspired by previous studies and proposed new research perspectives and ideas.The third part is based on Grunig's public view on Xi Jinping's Chinese story analysis of audience strategy,that is,the non-public,potential public,the public and the public.The fourth part is the content strategy analysis.It sorts and summarizes the Chinese stories told by Xi Jinping,and divides the story text into "story about Chinese dreams","story about China's peaceful development","story about Chinese people",and "talking about the diplomatic story of a big country".The fifth part is the weight of this study,which tells the story of Xi Jinping,as the text for the analysis of the object,and Aristotle classical rhetorical theory of public discourse in which to explore the art of rhetoric and resort to tactics,resorting mainly for personality,emotion and logic.In the final part,the general rhetoric rules of government public relations discourse based on Chinese history and culture and social situation are summarized,and the special rhetorical strategies of "speaking Chinese stories" public relations discourse are summarized,and suggestions and prospects are put forward.
