Reading class is a basic course in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and it is also a language skills class.International students need to face a lot of new words and reading tasks.Since the 1980?1990s,in the context of foreign language teaching based on application purposes,the lexical teaching method has quietly emerged.Many experts and scholars began to study the application of lexical chunk-based teaching method in teaching classes.The mood adverbs "finally","exactly" and "after all" are frequently used in Chinese,which is also a grammatical point that foreign students are easy to make mistakes.Based on this,the author tries to apply lexical chunk teaching to the teaching of intermediate reading in TCFL to verify whether it can reduce errors and promote students' reading ability.The main work of this paper is as follows: 1)through the analysis of the attribution of the error corpus collected by the middle and advanced Chinese proficiency learners;2)combining the lexical chunk teaching method,the teaching strategy of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is put forward;3)comparing with the traditional teaching method,to verify the effectiveness of lexical chunk teaching method in solving the teaching of Chinese reading as a foreign language.The main innovations of this paper are summarized as follows:1)There is a lack of comparative study on modal adverbs "Jiujing","Zhongyu","Daodi".This paper tries to analyze the errors caused by these three words from the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.2)The application of lexical chunk teaching method in teaching Chinese as a foreign language has been a hot topic in recent years.This paper applies lexical chunk teaching method to the teaching of intermediate reading course in TCFL,in order to reduce students' errors in the modal adverb "after all","after all","after all",and "after all",so as to improve the reading ability of foreign students.This paper mainly takes "Zhongyu","Jiujing" and "Daodi" as examples,and only makes a comparative study of the teaching design of the Chinese reading course for foreigners,which has not been mentioned for other types of courses.The following main research direction is to extend the lexical chunk teaching method to the teaching of a certain kind of words,such as notional words and function words,in order to fully illustrate the effectiveness of the lexical chunk-based teaching method in the actual teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.
