Chunk theory of second language acquisition research is a hot issue in the country in recent years has also been more and more attention. Researchers through the daily use of computer retrieval language, found that70%of the language of chunks. Chunks of second language acquisition of great significance, it helps to produce norms and customary expression, thereby enhancing the learners’ language fluency and authentic.It also helps to avoid the Pragmatic Failure to improve the level of pragmatics, thus improving the Appropriateness of learner language. This a new approach for our research and teaching Chinese as second language acquisition research attempts to in chunks theoretically seek development to support learning and teaching of the Chinese.The chunk theory and development of a systematic review and organize, and on the basis of previous research, combined with the Chinese on Chinese language study. Classification to the Chinese language, we first analyzed the Chinese definition and characteristics of this language system. According to the above analysis, we propose the definition of standard of the Chinese language, Chinese language accordingly classified to determine a chunk of the concept and scope of this study.Selected a relatively complete set of Chinese Peking University Press Intensive Reading "Boya Chinese-Intermediate" as the object of study, According the standards defined in Chinese language to pick out the chunks contained in each lesson, the Chinese language block distinguished from non-Chinese language clearly. Each lesson to find out the chunk form of statistical classification, carved out of the chunk. Then the chunk of this textbook, study the frequency of the chunks, and chunk distribution, and the block with the words of the language, the language block with syntax point of control.Any scientific research in order to practice the theoretical support and help to provide learners with this thesis, the chunk theory applied to the intermediate foreign language teaching practice, by the method of combining theoretical research and materials analysis, chunks of principles, the basic teaching methods, teaching strategies and materials to prepare proposals, and also pointed out the lack of research, chunks of teaching and research play a valuable role.
