| Beethoven was a great German composer.He created thirty-two piano sonatas,which has played an important role in the history of western music.They're honored as the “The New Testament of the Bible” for every piano learner and a routine playlist for each concert.At present,many students just focus on the practice of techniques when playing Beethoven's piano sonata works,and the professors just stress on the explanation of playing techniques but they ignore the analysis of the creation characteristics,which hinders the accurate expression and connotation of Beethoven's works in performance.Therefore,it is necessary to study how to manifest the creation characteristics of Beethoven's piano sonatas in performance.This paper selects Farewell,one of Beethoven's 32 piano sonatas as the object of the study and discusses its creation characteristics and performance style.Then it analyzes the key playing points and methods of how to accurately highlight its creation characteristics and styles in performance.This paper mainly consists of three parts.The first part introduces the historical status of Beethoven's piano sonata,and summarizes the creation characteristics of Beethoven's piano sonatas in the middle and late period.The second part mainly elaborates the creation background and the creation characteristics of the works in the aspects of motivation,introduction,epilogue,harmony,tonality,polyphonic technique and title.The third part describes how to manifest the creation characteristics of Farewell in performance,and analyzes in detail the key playing points and methods of the creation characteristics and playing styles according to the sequence of music.Through the study of Farewell,this paper hopes to deepen the understanding of the creation characteristics of Beethoven's piano sonatas,grasp the key playing points and methods to highlight the creation characteristics,interpret and perform works in a better way,and provide some valuable references for teaching and research as well. |
