Study On The Controversy Over "Niao Yan Shou Yu" In Modern Chinese Children's Literature

The controversy over "Niao Yan Shou Yu" is an important theoretical contention in the history of modern Chinese children's literature.This controversy enriches the theoretical achievements of children's literature and influences the writing practice of modern Chinese children's literature.Depending on the first-hand historical materials,this paper combs the historical process of the controversy over "Niao Yan Shou Yu" by the method of combining history with theory,so that we can analyze the historical trend and evolution track of modern Chinese children's literature.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly describes the historical antecedents of the controversy over " Niao Yan Shou Yu ".The discovery of children during the May 4th Movement made the concept of children-oriented spread rapidly in China,which contradicted to the traditional "future people" concept of children.The germination of the controversy of " Niao Yan Shou Yu " was also born in this period.Zhou Zuoren and Liu Yizheng discussed whether the fairy tales of "Niao Yan Shou Yu" should be banned,which foreshadows the climax of the controversy.The second chapter focuses on the theoretical achievements of the controversy over" Niao Yan Shou Yu ",and analyses the historical context,blasting fuse,focus and academic results of the controversy.Chapter three explores the practical effect of the controversy over" Niao Yan Shou Yu " and discusses the mismatch between the theoretical achievements of the controversy and the subsequent practice of children's literature under the influence of severe social reality.He Jian's speech as the fuse,the controversy over " Niao Yan Shou Yu " reached a climax one after another,and the group supporting " Niao Yan Shou Yu " had a dominant position in the academic field.However,with the deepening of the social crisis,the climax of the controversy receded.Chapter IV discusses the challenges faced by children's literature in the new era from the perspective of history and reality,and explores the enlightenment and "ideological support" provided by the past lessons and experiences to the current children's literature writing through the historical research of the controversy.Reviewing the history of the development of Chinese children's literature,there is an inseparable relationship between the controversy over " Niao Yan Shou Yu " and the theoretical foundation of Chinese children's literature.On the one hand,the "discovery of children" urges the creator to attach importance to the subject status of children and respect their reading needs.On the other hand,the modern concept of "children" is further constructed and confirmed in the fairy tale writing.The controversy over "Niao Yan Shou Yu" provides an important perspective for us to study the development history of modern children's literature,so that we can think about the important proposition of how the concept of "child" is modern and how children's literature is going to prosper.
