In the modern context, under the discipline classification and research methods originated from the West, how to understand and express"Wang Yang-ming’s theory of mind as a Philosophy" has become an important topic in the academic research field of Chinese traditional thought. For more than 100 years, the study on Wang Yang-ming’s theory of mind has produced a great success. However, standing in the convenient position of the post-scholar,there are still some deficiencies and difficulties in the philosophical interpretation of Wang Yangming’s psychology.Taking"nothing outside the Xin" as an example, the study of the "xin-wu" relationship in Wang Yangming’s psychology and the related thoughts of "reality" and "world" are still not completely rid of the philosophical thinking mode of the modern subject-object binary opposition, which makes it difficult to find an ideal modern expression for Wang Yangming’s thoughts of "nothing outside the Xin".As one of the beginnings and foundations of modern philosophy,Husserl’s phenomenology criticized and transcended the dualism philosophy of Descartes, which brought about the topic of "consciousness-world(xin-wu)".At the same time, the starting point, way and orientation of Husserl’s phenomenological thinking also showed obvious affinity with Wang Yangming’s psychology. On the basis of a brief introduction to the related philosophical concepts and propositions of Husserl’s phenomenology, this paper collects and enumerates Wang Yangming’s words about the "xin-wu"thought,and uses Husserl’s phenomenological language to rephrase and clarify them to prove:Between "Cheng Xin" and "Reduction"," Guan Zhao Wan Wu"and "the object appears in the visual","nothing outside the mind" and "existence in the consciousness",Wang Yangming’s theory of mind and Husserl’s phenomenology areare highly consistent;at the same time, this is also a version that provides a philosophical interpretation and modern expression for Wang Yangming’s"Xin-Wu"thoughts such as"nothing outside the mind".It can be seen that phenomenology has greatly helped the modern understanding of Wang Yangming’s psychology, which can avoid the misinterpretation and underestimation. In addition,Wang Yangming’s psychology can also bring some enlightenment and supplement to the current development of phenomenology, especially for a possible"Phenomenological Ethics".
