The Conversation Analysis Of The TV Talk Show <Round Table>

TV talk shows are one of the hottest variety shows nowadays.With the increasing number of variety shows,audiences' requirements for TV talk shows are also increasing.TV talk shows also need to win viewers' attention with distinctive features.The <round table> faction broke the convention of previous talk shows and won its place on TV talk shows with its unique conversational style.Based on the conversation analysis theory of Sacks and other sociologists,this paper analyzes the corpus of the program and discusses the uniqueness of the conversation of the <round table> school.This paper analyzes the dialogue of the <round table>school through five parts.The first chapter introduces the basic structure of the <round table> school program,and analyzes the overall characteristics of the program to find its unique characteristics.Chapter two studies the beginning mode,ontology mode and end mode of program conversation from the whole structure of conversation.The beginning mode,ontology mode and end mode of the program have various forms,not limited to a single form.Chapter three analyzes the local structure of the conversation,including the form of the program's speech round construction,the form of the answer structure and the form of the feedback project.This program is mainly composed of single sentences and sentence groups,which are similar to everyday conversations.The structure and form of the reply are basically in line with that of daily conversation,and the feedback items are also full of chat and comments.In chapter four,the author analyzes the method of speech round conversion from the perspective of speech round conversion.The round can be initiated through normal self-selection,abnormal self-selection,overlap and insertion.You can abandon the round by selecting the next speaker,gaze,context,and background content.Through the analysis of the speech rotation ratio between the host and the guest,it is found that the status of participants in the conversation of the program is different from that of other talk shows.The fifth chapter analyzes the conversational strategy and characteristics of the program,and concludes that the conversational strategy of the program co-exists with the principle of cooperation and the principle of contempt,and is guided by the strategy of face.Conversation is not all about cooperation and pandering,but about expressing one's own opinions and arguing among different schools of thought,which reflects the equality of participants in the conversation.Finally,it summarizes the overall nature of the dialogue of <round table> school,that is,the institutionality,and the conversational characteristics different from other TV talk shows,that is,the diversity of conversational structure,the commonness of conversational language,and the entertainment of the topic.
