Research On The Controversy Of "Sinologism"

The thesis takes "Sinologism" as the main research object,and takes the relevant debates around "Sinologism" as the starting point,and explores the core issues of the debate and its significance to the current academic production.The full text body consists of three parts,namely three chapters:The first chapter is the analysis of "Sinologism".It is mainly to summarize the ins and outs of the development of "Sinologism",from the analysis of the concept of "Sinologism" and the "Sinologism" debate.The concept of "Sinologism" is mainly analyzed from the three stages of the emergence,initial discrimination and thinking of the theory.The reason for this is that it intended to present a theoretical paradigm in which the "Sinologism" is very different in the development process.The initial stage of "Sinologism" is the transitional stage of the theoretical paradigm from early to late.Through the three-stage discussion,we grasp the problems and phenomena presented in different stages of the "Sinologism" theoretical paradigm.The "Sinologism" debate related to this exposes the different positions of different scholars on "Sinologism".The second chapter,position and paradigm: the core issue of the debated on "Sinologism".Focusing on the problems of the intersection,difference and plausibility of "Sinologism" and "Orientalism",we analyze the different positions of affirmative support,objective neutrality and negative questioning of different scholars.Behind the different positions,it reveals the problem of the production paradigm of "Sinologism" related knowledge,which is embodied in three aspects: ideology,knowledge alienation and pure academic reliability.In addition,this chapter also analyzes the identity anxiety of Chinese scholars and the choice of the theory of overseas Chinese in the relevant debates,because both are closely related to a certain position or paradigm.The third chapter is the current academic significance of the debate on "Sinologism".On the one hand,it reflects the echo of the "compulsory interpretation" theory.The four characteristics of "mandatory interpretation" are not only a reminder of the study of overseas Sinology.At the same time,the process of "Sinologism" itself also exposes "subjective presupposition".The characteristics of "mandatory interpretation" such as non-logical proof "the path of understanding of chaos".On the other hand,"Sinologism" and its controversy have led scholars to pay attention and vigilance about academic production,in which the “ideology” presented or hidden or inevitable radiates scholars' cognition and thinking patterns,even unconsciously.The way is presented in the production of knowledge.Then,conscious reflection has important warning and reshaping significance for current discipline construction and scientific research education.
