Mai Jia as a writer was acclaimed the "king of espionage fiction" by media,his espionage fiction has popularity and vanguard character as well.This enriches the technique of expression in espionage fiction.His five full-length espionage novels were all rearranged into dramas,audience rating and occupancy are huge hit,Xi Jinping,the the general secretary of CPC,called him "the first man of Chinese spy drama".Mai Jia's espionage fiction not only stresses on narrative skill but also reflects views on life,human nature and history of himself.The narrative form combine with connotations of stories to form special narrative ethics in the espionage fiction of Mai Jia.But there are a few results about narrative ethics in the research field of Mai Jia's espionage fiction.Based on this,this article research narrative ethics in Mai Jia's fiction from narrative form and connotations of stories by narrative ethic criticism.This expands the depth and breadth of research about Mai Jia's espionage fiction,and is helpful for researchers and readers to have a deeper understanding of the artistic charm of his espionage novels.This article was divided into four parts.The introduction introduces Mai Jia's literature creation and espionage fiction,and analyses current research status of Mai Jia and his espionage fiction.This part also defines related concepts of narrative ethics and explains the two research layers—story ethics and narrative form ethics.The first chapter researches the creation origin of Mai Jia.Childhood experience made Mai Jia be used to set up enclosed space and pay attention to showing individual discourse in the progress of history;the pioneering literature brought Mai Jia rebellious spirit and Borges taught him how to make narration like maze;in addition,Mai Jia has reader-centered creative thinking,the three parts above constitutes unique narration in Mai Jia's espionage fiction.The second chapter researches narrative ethics in Mai Jia's espionage fiction from story ethical connotations.Story ethics in Mai Jia's espionage fiction mainly reflected in two aspects,firstly,Mai Jia transfers the power of faith to the readers by writing heroes' exploration of belief;secondly,Mai Jia analyses the spiritual suffering of heroes when they sacrifice for their country with his delicate brushwork and the complex human nature,and shows solicitude for calling from individual life.The third chapter researches narrative ethics from narrative form ethics,analyses the ethical implications result from narrative time and space,narrator and visual angle in Mai Jia's fiction.The ingenious arrangement of time not only awakens the readers' collective memory,but also enables them to grasp the key points of the development of events and think deeply;enclosed space traps the characters in ethical dilemma,so this space become the best place for Ma Jia to express multidimensional human nature;the narrators' intervention in narration and content gives the reader a specific ethical position,but the flowing perspective provides readers with multiple perspectives of thinking,the collision of the two aspects arouses readers' emotional experience.
