Comparison Of Left-behind Children And Migrant Children

In this study,30 left-behind children and 30 migrant children in grades 1-3 of elementary school were studied.Conducting executive functions tasks,theory of mind tasks,and Raven's intelligence tests as measurement tools.Exploring the differences between ?cold executive function?,?hot executive function? and theory of mind with migrant children and left-behind children;At the same time,it discusses the relationship between "cold executive function","hot executive function",theory of mind and fluid intelligence.The task of examining the "cold execution function" is the day-night Stroop task and the berg card sorting Test;The task of examining the "hot execution function" is object reversal and delay of gratification task;The task of examining the theory of mind is the unexpected location task and the unexpected content task.The measurement data analysis of covariance,correlation and regression were used to draw the following conclusions:(1)Migrant children were significantly higher than the left-behind children in the day-night stroop task correctrate and the Berg Card Sorting task correctrate,and the total score of cold execution function is significantly higher than that of left-behind children.(2)There was no significant difference between the migrant children and the left-behind children in the correct number of object reversal tasks and the score of delay of gratification,and the difference in the total score of the hot execution function was not significant.(3)Migrant children were significantly higher than left-behind children in the scores of unexpected content task and unexpected location,and were significantly higher in the total score of theory of mind than left-behind children.(4)The cold execution function is significantly positively correlated with the theory of mind.The cold execution function can predict the theory of mind,the correlation between the hot execution function and the theory of mind is not significant.(5)Fluid intelligence and theory of mind are significant related,but cold executive function account for more than fluid intelligence to explain psychological theory.(6)There is a significant correlation between cold execution function and fluid intelligence.
