To explore the characteristics and the difference of non-intellectual development of left-behind children and non-left-behind by questionnaire survey method.And on the basis of the results,we provide some countermeasures and suggestions to cultivate the left-behind children' non-intelligence factors.Seven primary schools and four junior high schools in rural areas of one city of Jiangsu Province were randomly selected as survey schools,subjects selected for the study covered five grades of 5,6,7,8 and 9,and each grade randomly selected 350 people,a total of 1750 people,and get 1615 available subjects.The data processing analysis,the research results are as follows:(1)There are significant differences in non-intellectual factors between left-behind children and non-left-behind children.Non-left-behind children develop non-intelligence factors better than left-behind children.Among them,male' non-intelligence factors have significant difference between left-behind and non-left-behind,non-left-behind boys scored higher than left-behind boys;the eighth students' non-intelligence factors have significant difference between left-behind and non-left-behind,non-left-behind students scored higher than left-behind students;there was a significant difference between left-behind and non-left-behind children with singleton or non-singleton children,and non-intellectual factors of left-behind only children or non-single children lagged behind non-left-behind only children or non-single children;(2)The non-intelligence factors of left-behind children have significant differences in gender and grade,specific performance as:The development of non-intelligence factors of left-behind girls is better than that of left-behind boys,The fifth grade students' non-intelligence factors developed well,and the eighth and ninth grade students' non-intelligence factors developed less well;(3)The non-intelligence factors of non-left-behind children have significant differences in gender,grade and whether or not the only,specific performance as:The development of non-intelligence factors of non-left-behind girls is better than that of non-left-behind boys;the non-intelligence factors of the fifth grade non-left-behind students develop well,and the non-intelligence factors of ninth grade students develop less well;the non-intelligence factors of only-child children develop better than non-only children;(4)There was a significant correlation between variables of non-intelligence factors and academic performance of left-behind children.Among them,the three variables of "learning responsibility," "achievement motivation," and "enthusiasm for learning" can significantly predict 15.3% Academic achievement.Non-left-behind children with non-intelligence factors and academic performance there is also significant correlation between variables."Learning enthusiasm," "achievement motivation," "learning persistence" and "self-efficacy" can significantly predict 18.0% Academic achievement.It shows that non-intellectual factors have a greater impact on the academic performance of non-left-behind children.
