Research On Peasant Image In Luo Weizhang’s Novels

As a peasant-born Luo Weizhang,he has always been known as a writer of "bottom writing".He uses his own personal experience to confide in the country that raised him and loved his life.His previous experience in rural life made him have special feelings for farmers and villages,so that his works are mostly descriptions of rural life with the main position of the countryside and the peasants as the main body.In the face of the difficult and tortuous process of peasants on the road to modernization,Luo Weizhang used literature to care for the native land and write the difficult choices and mental journeys of the peasants in the economic transformation in the new era.This thesis takes the image of the peasant in Luo Weizhang’s novels as the main research object.The first chapter introduces the source and significance of the topic,and introduces the research content and innovation of the paper based on the research status.The second chapter analyzes the integrity of the peasant image in the novel.According to the different road choices and coping styles of the peasant under the impact of the modernization wave,they are divided into “the rural left-behind” who are insisting on their homeland or forced to stay behind,and the “urban strangers” who are forced to live or are ideal for survival.and further explore the psychological characteristics and ideological connotation of the peasant image.The third chapter mainly discusses the reasons for the formation of the peasant image in Luo Weizhang’s novels from the author’s own local experience and social and cultural background.The fourth chapter is based on the previous research,to comprehensively and three-dimensionally explore the value of the peasant image.The peasant image in Luo Weizhang’s novels not only has the traditionality of the peasant image in the history of literature,but also has the unique characteristics of the new era.At the same time,it also reveals the rigorous peasant and social problems,causing people’s reflection and,to a certain extent,making a voice for the bottom peasants.Through the shaping of the image of the peasants,Luo Weizhang shows us the survival problems and cultural psychological conflicts of the peasants at the turn of the century,and describes the important chapters in the history of the national soul,which has the dual meaning of the history of thought and the history of literature.
