Reception Study On The Narrative Arts Of Calvino's Novels In Zhu Tianwen's Wu Yan

As a dazzling star of literary arena in the world,Calvino has become the example of many writers with his pursuit of the unique value of literature and the innovative and experimental exploration and practice of creation.And Zhu Tianwen met Calvino in the conscious period of pursuing creative transformation.It was like finding the key to open the new world of novel creation.Zhu Tianwen,who was not willing to be covered by the shadow of his predecessors,found the direction and methods of getting out of the shadow of Zhang Ailing and Hu Lancheng in Calvino's works.This topic is based on Zhu Tianwen's novel Wu Yan,using influence study method of comparative literature,text reading method and narratology theory,to compare and research Calvino and Zhu Tianwen's novels,exploring the venation of the reception of Calvino's narrative art,the similarities and differences of creation and the degree of reception.All of these could help us have a better understanding of Zhu Tianwen's Wu Yan.From theoretical writings to various forms of novel creation practice,Zhu Tianwen accepted the all-round influence of Calvino from poetic concept to creative practice.However,Zhu Tianwen did not fully accept the narrative art of Calvino's novels.She used these narrative techniques around her own creative intent.Calvino's encyclopedic narrative became a means for Zhu Tianwen to reflect current modern society in Taiwan.In Palomar and The Baron on the Tree,Calvino's autobiographical narrative centered on autobiographical characters became the source of Zhu Tianwen's creative inspiration.According to this,Zhu Tianwen's individual survival experience and the living concept of Lightness were substituted into the autobiographical protagonist and works to express her own experience of modern life in Taiwan and the corresponding way of living.The crystal structure that Calvino admires,which also means a kind of multidimensional narration,gave Wu Yan the collage and fragmentation features of postmodern narrative.Although it did not reach the height of Calvino,it was also an attempt.In terms of speed of narrative,Zhu Tianwen accepted slow skills from Calvino's pursuit of Quickness,and slowed down the time with Digression and Time Zero narrative,thus building her own time.
