Research Into Applications Of Black-and-white Printmaking Textures To Space Expression Of Animation Short Films

With the development of digital technology and constant upgrade of animation making software,the expression methods and creation technologies of animations have been gradually expanded,leading to a growing variety of animation genres and improvement of quality.Audiences can appreciate different kinds of animation works.The printmaking animation is a creation method developed in the process,which impresses audiences with its black-and-white color blocks and the line combinations of different densities as well as the direct visual effect.The textures of printmaking are in themselves a unique expression language.The black-and-white printmaking animation works should have their own space expression characteristics.Revolving around applications of black-and-white printing textures to space expression of animation short films,this paper adopts literature review,case study and summary,and combines the author's creation expression of Mask to explore application methods of black-and-white printmaking textures to space expression of animation short films.This paper studies how to use digital technology to produce the texture effect of black and white prints in short film creation and which texture to choose for spatial expression in different scenes of animated short film.
