This transformation is generally starting with the new way of design thinking of the interior space, which emphasize a lot on the emotion care and building up the selfhood of human beings by the space rather than only considering the different functions.People’s new demand for the modern space tend to be establishing the relations between the users and the environmental space, so that they can enjoy more in space. Creating the highly emotional, personalized, and contextual space has gradually become the new challenge for designers. The different construction factors of space may still waited to be innovated and will be the breakthrough. The author of this essay chose the texture from the construction factors in the space since it has rich expressive senses for expressing the emotion. Trying to find the way of innovation for the new and artistic representation of the texture in the space. The expression way of the texture of the printmaking is referenced for the method of emotional space creating by the textures with its excellent making and artistic display. With the analysis, this essay describing the influence that printmaking can bring to the space in the emotional representation of the texture, and also the method the texture of space can inspired by that of printmaking.The whole analysis, begin with the basic concepts analysis of three key words: textures of printmaking, textures of the space and the emotional space. And then, the second and third chapters, is the analysis of the meaning and expressing ways of the printmaking textures, the analysis of the ways for creating the emotional space, based on the theory of emotion creation. The fourth chapter, will compare the two ways of printmaking and space conveying the emotional messages. The fifth chapter, based on the results of the previous analysis, will conclude that by which means the texture of space can inspired by that of printmaking.
