Application And Practice Of Decorative Patterns Of Dynasty-Yuan Diagrams In Visual Communication Design

Yongle Palace Murals,as the representative works of Miyagi murals in China,are undoubtedly a thick one in the history of Chinese murals.The rich and varied decorative patterns of Yongle Palace murals are their most important components.Based on the various decorative patterns appearing in Yongle Palace fresco masterpiece Chaoyuan Tu,this paper classifies the patterns according to different categories,explores the origin and implication of decorative patterns in Chaoyuan Tu,as well as the application of the decorative patterns in modern visual communication design,and then applies them to the design practice.The first chapter of this paper mainly gives an overview of Yongle Palace mural Chaoyuan Tu,introduces some basic information about its layout,pattern and the drawing time,so as to lay a foundation for the study of decorative patterns in the Chaoyuan Tu.The second chapter introduces the classification of decorative patterns of the Chaoyuan Tu,which is studied in this paper.According to the position of decorative patterns,they can be divided into the decorative patterns of characters' clothes and the decorative patterns of objects.The third chapter probes into the origin of decorative patterns in Chaoyuan Tu.Each kind of decorative pattern on Chaoyuan Tu has its origin.Analyzing these origins can better understand the connotation of these decorative patterns.The fourth chapter analyzes the implication of decorative patterns in Chaoyuan Tu.In ancient religious murals,decorative patterns not only play a decorative role,but also have profound cultural connotation.To explore the deep cultural connotation of these patterns can better guide their application in modern visual communication design.The fifth chapter,after a comprehensive understanding of the decorative patterns of Chaoyuan Tu,this paper analyzes the cases of modern visual communication design using the decorative patterns of Chaoyuan Tu and its design ideas as examples.The sixth chapter mainly combines the decorative patterns appearing in the Chaoyuan Tu to create the graduation design.
