In recent years,a great number of online courses,especially high-quality businessoriented ones,have been introduced into China and been translated into Chinese.These courses feature well-organized structure and rich course content mostly in forms of audios and videos so as to convey vivid information.Therefore,clients always require quality translation with equal emphasis on information accuracy and interaction.This thesis outlines the features and requirements of audio-video text and nonverbal information translation in this project respectively.By comparing the first and the reviewed drafts,this thesis attempts to explore some practical strategies for audio-video text translation of online business courses.To translate audio texts,translators should appropriately omit some English abbreviations,supplement necessary information and modify texts according to course pictures.For video text translation,it is applicable to omit markers of interaction,fillers and repetitions according to specific context.In terms of nonverbal information,necessary description and annotations should be added properly based on specific course goals in order to better explicate course goals.
