Text is an important carrier for the continuous development and dissemination of human civilization.Different fonts correspond to different usage ranges and service objects.At the same time,different font symbols have different visual effects and visual experiences.The fonts used and communicated in China are mainly Chinese characters.At present,the design-related Chinese characters used in people's life are mainly four types:bold,song,Imitation Song and regular script.However,this is far from meeting the growing commercial category and colorful cultural needs.In the field of contemporary design,more and more designers have noticed the precious value of traditional national culture and actively explored the application of traditional cultural elements in modern and contemporary design.Calligraphy is a very important part of China's excellent traditional culture.Over the past thousands of years,many famous calligraphy classics have been accumulated.However,when most of the classic regular script fonts are redesigned by designers,they tend to emphasize the unity and integrity of the design fonts,and the original style charm and style flavor of Calligraphy Font are seriously diluted.In addition,the immaturity of China's current Calligraphy Font market and the uneven cultural literacy reserve of most font designers themselves,the types of China's Calligraphy Font currently available are too single,and the quality is also mixed.This research is aimed at the design and application of Calligraphy Font font library for "Zhang Xuan's epitaph".Starting from its original font characteristics,it uses design methods and principles such as "feature continuation" and "middle-side combination" to design from strokes to radicals and then to font structure.According to the font data provided by "handwriting creation" under the banner of founder font Company,it designs and typesets the fonts used in daily use respectively,and then stores them in a unified library and inputs them into a computer.It also explores the feasibility and effect of its application in daily life,such as movie posters,posters,advertising and other fields.Finally,it summarizes the style features and application scope of the design font,and explores new elements and theoretical references in the design field of Calligraphy Font,China.
