The Comparation Of Female Images In Modigliani And LinFengMian’s Paintings

Artistic creation which focuses on the female has existed for a long time. Artists at different times have the different understanding and presentation forms for female. As times change and society develops, more and more artists are keen to use the image of female to express their needs in artistic creation, and female images also add more color to the development of art.Based on the comparison of women’s images of Modern Western painter Modigliani and modern Chinese painter LinFengmian, the paper starts with two artists’ artistic style and visual schema. By analyzing the integration of modern painting language and traditional painting language, and creating their own artistic image of the female characteristics and differences, it respectively combines Modigliani’s exaggerated elongated modeling approach in the depiction of female and symbolic character features with LinFengmian Chinese and Western painting. At the same time, it widely absorbs folk art, and ultimately forms modern schema and female images with western style and oriental charm and it excavates deeply from lines, color, composition of a picture and other forms of language to individual thinking and painting concept.
