Chopin's Etudes,as a very important component of piano technical etudes,not only occupy a very important place in the music libraries,but also become a teaching material that must be used by piano professional learners.As Chopin's Etudes cover the higher level of skill training and more complex music art value for technical training in piano performance area,there are many technical problems and lower teaching efficiency problems in the piano teaching practice of Chopin's Etudes.It is crucial that how to establish a more scientific teaching guidance system and serious training thinking in solving the related problems to Chopin's Etudes' teaching and the training of piano performance.As a teaching reference for piano skills training,piano performance guide can provide us with rich research materials for piano learning;therefore,the research on piano performance guide of Chopin's Etudes also constitutes an important part of contemporary piano teaching practice research.This research aims to discuss and reflect on several issues regarding the teaching methods of piano etudes as well as the training of piano performance skills,by applying the existing literature in China and abroad to extract and analyze the musical elements such as fingering,rhythms,notes and explanatory note from piano musical works and practice forms from piano etudes.Monograph on piano pedagogy shed lights on such important topic to study the piano teaching and learning,and along with the studies for the characteristics from different teaching methods could be used as principal means that contribute to the piano teaching research and achieving of piano educational targets.Interpretation on Chopin's Etudes written by Alfred Cortot involves a large number of practice forms and technical guidance written by the writter himself on the piano playing techniques required for Chopin's Etudes.Behind these forms are the piano playing aesthetics and the teaching methods presented by Cortot as the crackerjack representative of French piano school and a famous piano educator.The research about piano teaching methods can help us clearly understand the applicable structure and ways between the piano teaching targets and piano teaching practices.In this thesis,the author conducts an empirical study on the teaching methods and philosophy from Interpretation on Chopin's Etudes written by Alfred Cortot.Sides with the research in teaching theories in related regimes and exploration in various training ways of different piano technological types,the author successfully combines both and completed practicality analysis in Cortot's methods and teaching ideas.In addition to the introduction,the thesis is divided into three chapters,which are discussed in a progressive way.The introduction introduces the origin and related problems of this research,and the first chapter lays the theoretical foundation of this research by means of literature review and content analysis.According to the characteristics,the second chapter can be divided into three different teaching methods by taking the performance guidance of ten specific Chopin's Etudes as an example to carry out teaching analysis.The third chapter which through the practical analysis of the teaching methods in the previous chapter,draws a extrapolated way from one instance to design the further method by applying the forms in previous chapter to the wider practice.Based on the actual training forms of piano technical types,the teaching guidance is designed in a similar way like Cortot's,and finally put forward the theory guidelines and spiritual enlightenment which are inspired by the scientifically structured performance technique styles.The whole research makes a preliminary research regarding the application of Cortot's teaching methods,and discuss the meaning and feasibility of Cortot's teaching principal in wider piano teaching practices.
