Chopin was born in the period of romanticism.His music is of great importance and influence to the world classical music.The main content of this paper is one of Chopin’s representative works: Piano Sonata No.2 in B flat minor.In the research process,the author learned a large number of domestic and foreign works,literature,and journal papers by means of consulting,and carefully read and understand,the essence of the contents and inspiring arguments are sorted out.And summed up Chopin sonata music characteristics and different angles of interpretation.Chopin’s Piano Sonata No.2 in B Flat Minor is one of the pieces for the author’s graduation concert of m FA.This article discusses this work from three parts.The first part of this paper introduces the composer Chopin’s life and the background of piano Sonata No.2 in B Flat minor,so that readers can have a basic understanding of Chopin.The second part explains the musical form structure in detail from the perspective of performance.In the third part,the author summarizes and sorts out the key and difficult points in this work from four aspects.The four technical difficulties and solutions of explosive music,dynamics control,key touching mode and coordinated breathing,and fast octave unison are analyzed in detail.And from the point of view of the player and attention may face when playing this work,and how to solve the problem,to add to work,the fourth part the author will four famous musicians playing video explaining in detail and various contrast,and from the author’s own practice and play,from the psychological and physiological aspect to carry on the exploration and summary,Readers can learn more about Chopin’s background and his Piano Sonata No.2 in B flat Minor.The author also hopes to provide some experience for piano students,music teachers and music players.
