Research On Wang Yun's Shuo Wen Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu

As one of the four great researchers of Shuo Wen in the Qing dynasty,Wang Yun's two books:“Shuo Wen Ju Dou” and “Shuo Wen Shi Li” are widely known,many researchers have studied them in recent years.But Wang Yun's “Shuo Wen Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu” is less studied.“Shuo Wen Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu”(“Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu” for short)is used to collating “Shuo Wen Jiezi Xi Zhuan” and Wang Yun did a lot of work for it,he refered to the different versions of the “Shuo Wen” of Daxu and Xiaoxu edition,and he recorded the difference among different versions of“Shuo Wen”,so “Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu” is an important reference work to compare “Shuo Wen” of Daxu edition with “Shuo Wen” of Xiaoxu edition.It also has important reference value for the textual criticism and philology,In this paper,“Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu” is taken as the object of study,with emphasis on the textual criticism and philology analysis.This paper is divided into five parts: The introduction part introduces the significance of the topic and the previous research review.The first chapter mainly introduces Wang Yun's life,his writings and research status.The second chapter is the introduction of the overall situation of“Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu”,including the writing reason and process of the book,content,arrangement and style.Through the introduction of these aspects,the reader can overall grasp the“Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu”.Chapter three introduces the emendation of “Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu”,Mainly from five aspects to introduce its reference value to textual criticism,including WangYun's textual criticism view,collating method used in “Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu”,the versions and references used in “Shuo Wen”,the types of errors in “Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu”,the Small Seal variant words and interpretation of words of “Shuo Wen” of Daxu edition.The fourth chapter introduces the study of philology in the “Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu”,mainly introduces the two methods in the research of the Small Seal and variant words in “Shuo Wen” recorded in the “Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu”,The fourth chapter also introduces the newly unearthed documents and the research point of view in “Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu”to illustrate the scientific nature of the study of philology “Xi Zhuan Jiao Lu” and its reference value to the study of philology.
