Singing Analysis Of "Red Bean Music" In Vocal Suite "A Dream Of Red Mansions"

A dream of Red Mansions is a famous chapter novel in Qing Dynasty,which is called the peak of Chinese classical novels.It has been created into film and television works for many times,and is loved by the audience.The 87 version of the TV play "dream of the Red Chamber" almost completely shows the soul of the novel.The theme song and episode in the play are compiled into a vocal divertimento called "dream of the Red Chamber",which was published in 2010 and became a classic.Among them,"red bean music" has a beautiful melody and a sad meaning,which has become the teaching repertoire of music major in Colleges and universities,and is often selected as music for concerts.This paper briefly introduces the background of "dream of the Red Chamber" and the brief introduction of "red bean music",and makes a comparative analysis of two different singing versions of "red bean music".It explores this music from multiple perspectives.Through the analysis of music noumenon,combined with its own concert,it makes an in-depth singing analysis from the aspects of breath,articulation and emotion.
