The Function Of Enclosure Space In Suspense Film

Suspense film is a popular type of film at present.It takes suspense as the core to build the overall framework,which makes the audience tense and doubt,and promotes the development of the story.More and more suspense films adopt the form of enclosure space to construct plots.On the one hand,it limits the space of the protagonist's activities,weakens the characters' social attributes,on the other hand,it expands their spiritual space,strengthens the characters' personal attributes,and has different forms and functions in suspense films.Through the case analysis of classic films,this paper attempts to analyze the function of enclosure space in suspense films from the perspectives of drama "three unifications".and action fields.The formation and change of the enclosure space affect the action of the characters.Time becomes the catalyst of contradiction and promotes the development of the plot;Affect the construction and destruction of order;Limited perspective and natural psychological tendency lead to suspense,which affects the audience's psychology and imagination of the space outside the painting.
