Chen Yan was a representative poet and major critic of the Tongguang style in the late Qing and early Republican periods.As the leader of "Tongguang",Chen Yan's poetic creation and poetic ideas have achieved considerable achievements.Chen Yan put forward the "three elements" theory,and reflected poetry from the perspective of the history of literary development,and explored the internal evolution of poetics,thus raising the status of Song poetry.Chen Yan also put forward a poetic argument that scholars' poetry and poetry are combined,emphasizing the importance of learning.In addition,he also studied the individualized creation of Song poetry,and put forward the idea of "good" poetry.In short,under the guidance of the three poetic ideas mentioned above,Chen Yan is committed to finding a place for Song poetry based on the background of the trend of poetic thought in the Qing Dynasty.This article is based on the "Song Poems" edited by Chen Yan as the research object,based on the academic case of the Tang and Song poems and the evolution of the academic trend of thought in the Qing Dynasty.The gains and losses of building a platform.The first part of the article is a review of the author Chen Yan.It is mainly analyzed from the perspective of his life experience,his works on poetry,and the compilation of The Essence of Song Poems.It not only reveals Chen Yan's triple identity but also points out the characteristics of this selection.The second part of the article focuses on the underlying reasons for the completion of The Book of Song Poems.Based on the academic trends of the Tang and Song Poetry Controversies,Chen Yan's poetic thinking,and the Qian Jia Sinology of the Qing Dynasty,the three academic levels were analyzed in-depth,especially the evolution of the Tang and Song Poetry Controversies in the field of Qing poetry.The third part of the article focuses on the gains and losses of Chen Yan's platform.The research is mainly carried out from three levels: "Sanyuantheory","Vulgar theory" and the poetic propositions of the stage of Song poetry.The last part of the article is a comparison between "Essence of Song Poems" and the famous "Selected Notes of Song Poems" in modern poetry from two perspectives.
