Result evaluation,as an important stage of decision-making process,is a process in which individuals quickly evaluate the feedback results caused by their decision-making behaviors.Previous studies mainly focused on the effects of outcome expectation, reward titre, opportunity fairness, proximity of results,emotion.etc.on outcome evaluation. However, few studies about the influence of socio-economic status on outcome evaluation were carried out.The research on the result evaluation of socio-economic status is benefit to understand the influence of socio-economic status difference on decision-making behavior, and to explore the internal psychological mechanism of cognitive component feedback-related negativity(FRN),P300 in the evaluation of resultsThe present studies were divided into two parts. The first was to explore the impact of socio-economic status on outcome evaluation by combining risk decision-making tasks with ERP technology. In the second study, the combination of probabilistic decision-making task and ERP technique was used to investigate the effect of socio-economic status on the outcome evaluation. In experiment 1,the behavior and EEG characteristics of subjects with different socio-economic status under different outcome titers and risk levels were investigated through partial results feedback. In experiment 2,a variable of feedback effect was added on the basis of experiment 1 to investigate whether participants were affected by the feedback results of unselected subjects under the condition of obtaining full feedback, and the differences between the results of behavior and EEG were compared with the results of experiment-1.The results of experiment 1 showed that the average response time of subjects with high subjective socio-economic status was shorter than the subjects with low subjective socio-economic status.Besides, different feedback results would affect the subject's choice tendency, and the results of winning money at high risk would induce larger amplitudes of FRN and P300.To control the subjective expectations of the subjects, the probabilistic decision-making task was used to provide the participants with different cues of the probability of rewards and punishments in the second study. The differences of the average amplitude of FRN and P300 induced by feedback results at different probability levels between the average amplitude and the average amplitude of the differential wave are investigated. The results showed that subjects with higher subjective socio-economic status had shorter average response time when they won money, while those with lower subjective socio-economic status had shorter average reaction time when they lost money.Unexpected feedback results can trigger larger amplitudes of FRN and P300The conclusions are as follows:(1)After getting the feedback of winning money at high risk, the subjects will think about the later choice for a longer time, while the latter choice is more likely to choose a high-risk object when they get the feedback of losing money. The feedback results obtained at low risk are more likely to choose low risk objects conservatively,no matter whether they win or lose.(2)The amplitude of FRN and P300 induced by winning feedback was larger than that of FRN and P300 induced by loss feedback, and FRN and P300 were more sensitive to positive feedback.(3)When partial feedback results were presented, the amplitudes of FRN and P300 induced by high risk were larger than those induced by FRN and P300 at low risk, and FRN and P300 were more sensitive to high risk.(4)In risk decision-making,FRN and P300 are affected by the feedback results of unselected objects.(5)Unexpected events, violating the expected feedback results of the subjects, may induce larger amplitudes of FRN and P300.
