In uncertain circumstances, rapidly evaluating outcome information and using it to guide future actions plays a critical role for human beings in daily life. Recently, many researchers have utilized event-related potentials and simple gambling task to investigate the processing of outcome evaluation. They suggested that the Feed-Related Negativity (FRN) and P300 were the most important components related to the feedback processing. The FRN is a negative deflection that occurs at about 250-300ms interval post feedback onset, and P300 is a positive deflection following FRN. Previous studies showed that feedback-related negativity FRN (feedback related negativity) and the P300 is closely associated with the results of evaluation of the two components, but there are two components of the psychological significance of this is not uniform, the two components and the cognitive process, the relationship between emotional processing motivation meaning is not clear.Experimental one, with association learning-reversal two-stage task paradigm, in association learning phase, subjects learned based on positive and negative feedback connection, the same reversed phase materials in connection to change the association was reacquisition must be based on feedback. The results show that the learning process before acquisition is more a reflection of the reinforcement learning process, and in the learning process after acquisition is more a reflect the emotional process.Experiment two used a decision-making task under other's proposal contexts, the consistency of the other recommendations of the evaluation of the results. The results showed that FRN amplitude sensitivity of the results of potency, but not sensitive to others proposal, and P300 amplitude showed a sensitive to others proposal consistent factor, rather than FRN.Therefore, this study provides the evidence of reinforcement learning theory to explain FRN and extends the functional significance of P300.
