Since its birth,Beijing Opera has been a shining name card of Chinese culture. It is a window for many overseas audiences to understand and peep into China's rich culture and truly experience the connotation of Chinese culture. The question how to bring the BeijingOpera art out of the country better concerns about the important policy of Chinese traditional culture going out,and whether Chinese traditional culture can really enter the cognitive vision of foreign audiences. From the perspective of historical practice, during the overseas dissemination of Beijing Opera, the selected plays pay more attention to the physical performance elements, which plays an irreplaceable role in providing convenience for the understanding of audiences with different languages. It can be said that paying attention to the transmission of physical performance elements is a basic communication that has appeared and is used since the primitive era, body language is a worldwide is relatively common mode of transmission, the transmission way of low cost and easy to understand,in different cultural groups, has great environment to use more of the language barrier. From the perspective of dialectics, there is also a phenomenon hidden in this:Will the emphasis on the positioning principle of the physical performance of the playlead to another form of incomplete information? Will overseas audiences' cognition of Beijing Opera create the impression that Beijing Opera only pays attention to the physical performance? In an attempt to study this issue, the author integrated the elements of physical performance in the form of oriental drama, the elements of physical performance in the form of Chinese drama, and the practice and form of overseas dissemination of modern and contemporary Beijing Opera,as well as contemporary foreign cultural and art consumers' perceptions and understanding, combining semiotics, interpreting and analyzing the problem from a semiotic perspective, and trying to provide suggestions for showing the true "full picture" of Beijing Opera. The body of this paper consists of 5 parts:introduction,a brief discussion to the elements of physical performance in traditional oriental performing arts, physical performance elements in the overseas dissemination of modern and contemporary Beijing Opera, physical performance elements transmission from the perspective of semiotics, and the enlightenment of the physical performance to the overseas communication of contemporary Beijing Opera. For the first three chapters, the author adopts the method of literature archaeology to study the data in a single linear way.To discuss the overseas practice of Beijing Opera that emphasizes the elements of physical performance, dialectic thinking and analysis of quantitative research data are adopted. The fourth chapter combines with the theory of semiotics to achieve the expectation of theory guiding practice. In the citation project Protection and development of Beijing opera cultural tourism resourcesof the paper, part of the data was obtained from the questionnaire, which was distributed offline. The results show that the plays that paying attention to the elements of physical performance play a positive role in facilitating foreign audiences to understand and understand Beijing Opera in overseas communication, but there is also a potential risk that overseas audiences may not have a comprehensive understanding of Beijing Opera.Under the new era,on the basis of retaining the advantages of overseas communication ofphysical performance elements,we should also takecomprehensiveness of Beijing opera into account.CombiningvariousBeijing Opera's stories, source of story, characteristics of the profession,we could bring the "True Body" of Beijing Opera to overseas audiences, and help Beijing Opera to truly "take root" overseas.
