Under the current background of urban transformation,China urgently needs industrial restructuring, industrial transformating and upgrading to promote the sustainable development of urban. The National Historic Cities with rich historical and cultural resources and profound cultural background also face the contradiction between the protection and inheritance of traditional culture and the innovative development of modern cities. Therefore, exploring a development path that takes into account both sides of the contradiction is of great significance to the revival of the historical and cultural city. The Cultural Creative Industries as the sunrise industry and smoke-free industry have developed into the main driving force for China’s industrial upgrading and economic development due to their high added value, high growth rate, and high integration. Moreover, the Cultural Creative Industries can realize the innovative protection of traditional culture, and can promote the "dualization" process of cultural economics and economic culturalization. Therefore, the transformation of National Historic Cities and the development of Cultural Creative Industries have theoretical consistency and realistic closeness.Exploring the spatial relationship between the two is a basic and important research proposition.Based on this, this article establishes the theme of studying the spatial pattern of Cultural Creative Industries and its influencing factors in Chinese National Historic Cities.According to the research idea of phenomenon-law-mechanism,this article uses analytical methods that integrate theory with empirical evidence, and uses 89 existing National Historic Cities at or above the prefecture level in China as research carriers to define the Cultural Creative Industries. This article defines Cultural Creative Industries as five industry categories: category of science, education, culture;category of leisure and entertainment;category of software and information;category of media design;category of cultural creative product trading; Then,Pyhton 3.7.0 software was used to crawl 1493320 effective POI data of Cultural Creative Industries.Based on these data, methods such as Spatial Quantile Map,Average Nearest Neighbor,Kernel Density Estimation are used to grasp the spatial pattern of Cultural Creative Industries in Chinese National Historic Cities from the macro-national level, the meso-regional level, and the micro-city level. Then, according to previous studies, economic factor, talent factor, technological factor, institutional factor, tolerance factor, infrastructure factorand cultural factor are selected as the influential factors of the spatial pattern of Cultural Creative Industries in Chinese National Historic Cities, using Principal Component Analysis and Geographical Detector methods to conduct the empirical research. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)In terms of the spatial pattern of Cultural Creative Industries in China’s National Historic Cities:(1)At the macro-national level, the top 10 cities in the number of Cultural Creative Industries are mainly distributed in the eastern region of China, especially in the southeastern coastal area of China. The bottom 10 cities in the number of Cultural Creative Industries are mainly distributed in the northwest and southwest of China,The distribution of Cultural Creative Industries as a whole presents a pattern that the number of POIs in eastern cities is greater than that in western cities and that in southern cities is greater than that in northern cities;(2)At the meso-regional level, the spatial distribution pattern of Cultural Creative Industries in National Historic Cities is as follows:The northern region of China is centered on Beijing, the northeast region of China is centered on Shenyang, the northwest region of China is centered on Yinchuan, the middle reaches of the Yellow River in China are centered on Xi’an、sub-centered on Zhengzhou, and the eastern region of China is centered on Shanghai The southern region of China is centered on Guangzhou, the southwest region of China is centered on Chengdu,sub-centered on Chongqing, and the middle reaches of the Yangtze River in China are centered on Wuhan,sub-centered on Changsha,;(3)At the micro-city level,by studying the cities with the largest number of Cultural Creative Industries in each region, this article finds that the Cultural Creative Industries of each city are significantly concentrated in the downtown area. The concentration of various types of Cultural Creative Industry in each Historical City is different, which is generally represented by category of cultural creative product trading > category of media design > category of software and information > category of science, education, culture > category of leisure and entertainment. The overall level of agglomeration of Cultural Creative Industry among different National Historic Cities is different. It is represented by Xi’an> Shenyang> Yinchuan>Guangzhou> Chengdu > Beijing> Wuhan> Shanghai.(2)In terms of influencing factors of Cultural Creative Industries’ spatial pattern in National Historic Cities:(1)At the macro-national level, this part of the study found that seven factors all have an impact on the spatial pattern of Cultural Creative Industries.Analyze by type, different influencing factors have different interpretation values for different types of Cultural Creative Industries, but the influencing factors of the five types of Cultural Creative Industries also have in common, that is,tolerance factors are the core influencing factors, and economic and institutional factors are general influencing factors. In general,at the macro-national level, the interpretive value of tolerance factors is the largest, followed by technological factors, cultural factors, infrastructure and talent factors, followed by economic factors and institutional factors.(2)At the meso-regional level, due to differences in socio-economic levels and natural resource elements in various regions, the factors that affect the spatial pattern of Cultural Creative Industries in National Historic Cities in different regions are different. It can be seen from the analysis of each region that the explanatory power values of various factors for different types of Cultural Creative Industries are "similar",that is,the ranking of the influencing factors of each industry type and overall level in the region is similar, but there are subtle differences.Comparing the various regions,it can be seen that except for the National Historic Cities in the middle reaches of the Yellow River that use science and technology factors, and the National Historic Cities in the northeast region that use talents as the core influencing factors, the other six historical and cultural city clusters all use tolerance as the core influencing factor. The influence of economic factors and institutional factors in all regions is relatively low.
