Research On The Adaptation Of Film And Television In White Deer Plain

The essence of adaptation is the process of art works from one medium form to another.Throughout China's film and television art history,the marriage of literature and film and television has become an irreversible trend.However,due to the difference between audiovisual means and written language,the difference between personal writing and collective creation,there are certain differences between the two works of art.Therefore,it is not easy to use the unique audio-visual means of film and television to translate literary works.This requires the director to make reasonable use of audio-visual means to meet the requirements of film and television narrative,so as to achieve communication between the two art forms and artistic means.Chen Zhongshi's novel "White Deer" was adapted into various artistic forms such as dramas,dance dramas,Shanxi opera,movies,and TV dramas after its publication because of its heavy historical theme and rich cultural orientation.This article takes the film version and the TV series "White Deer" as the research object.Through the comparison with the original work,it expounds the adaptation strategies of the film version "White Deer" and the TV series "White Deer" on the characters and plots of the novel,summing up the process of cross-media rheology.Choices and changes made in the middle.At the same time,compare the film and TV dramas that are both film and television art,and analyze the differences and reasons between the two in the process of adaptation.In this paper,the novels and plots in the movie version of "White Deer" and the TV series "White Deer" are compared with the original,and the results after the change are explained by the addition,deletion and reshaping of the characters,the addition,deletion and rewriting of the plot.Secondly,it analyzes the image features of movies and TV series.Finally,starting from the media itself and the artistic style of the director and the actor,the differences and reasons for the adaptation of the film and the TV series are explained.Although the film version of "White Deer" was released after the release of many sounds,but from the image style,it still continues the director's consistent shooting and narrative style,especially the addition of the Huayin old film in the film also shows that the director attaches importance totraditional culture.It can be called an epic of visualization.The TV series "White Deer" has basically entered the plot of "faithfulness" because of the freedom of its length.Therefore,“faithfulness” can no longer be used as the sole criterion for evaluating the success of an adapted work.Text and film are two completely different art styles,so they cannot be placed in the same aesthetic evaluation system,which is unfair to the adaptation.In the process of adaptation,it is more important to reflect the spiritual connotation and the value of the original according to the creative rules of the art,so as to realize the benign interaction between the literary text and the film and television text.
