In the development history of Chinese TV dramas,many excellent TV dramas follow the route of adapting classic works,such as the four famous novels in the early stage and Lu yao's novel The Ordinary World which has been adapted into TV dramas for two times.The success of film and television adaptation is determined by the quality of the script,the acting ability of the actors,the production level of the crew and many other factors.Adapted from a novel of the same name by Chen zhongshi,the TV series White Deer Plain has been released with a trend of low opening and high opening.It has won 8.8 points on Douban.com,and has won a number of awards for TV series at home and abroad,and won the praise of many film and TV experts.Drama version of White Deer Plain adaptation is the unique artistic charm,and studies of White Deer Plain based on a research mainly concentrated in the movies,plays,drama,opera and other version,the existing research results of drama version of White Deer Plain is less,and it's more focus on a certain point,the lack of systematic,holistic and deep going,so the research has certain theoretical innovation.The research on the adaptation of the TV series White Deer Plain is conducive to providing theoretical guidance for the development of film and television adaptation in China,so as to promote the visualization of more literary classics and produce more humanistic care and high-quality plays.Meanwhile,taking the drama version White Deer Plain as the research model is also conducive to promoting the continuous improvement and development of Chinese film and television adaptation theory,thus providing theoretical support for the practice of film and television adaptation.The core of this thesis is the systematic analysis of the secondary creation of narrative content in the TV series White Deer Plain.This paper makes a comparative study of the novel White Deer Plain and the TV drama White Deer Plain.This thesis is divided into five chapters except introduction and conclusion,intended to White Deer Plain as reference to novel,to show White Deer Plain as the basic foothold,systematic analysis of adaptation of the narrative features and image representation,in-depth interpretation of White Deer Plain,summed up the success of the TV series White Deer Plain based on and shortage,provide new ideas for TV series based on the practice in new era.The introduction is an overview of Chen zhongshi and the original novel White Deer Plain.Andre Bazin tries his best to advocate the idea of being faithful to the original works,which is also an important guiding principle in the practice of film and television adaptation in China,and an important standard for people to seriouslydiscuss the art and achievements of film and television plays.Therefore,the study of the TV series White Deer Plain cannot be separated from the accurate grasp of the author and the original novel.The first chapter is about the second creation of narrative content in the TV series White Deer Plain.This chapter mainly combines the TV script of the TV play White Deer Plain,aiming at the reconstruction of the characters in the TV play.The second chapter is the addition and deletion of the plot of the novel.Chapter three is the adjustment of the narrative structure of the novel.Chapter four is a systematic analysis of the theme of the novel.The fifth chapter mainly analyzes the characteristics of sound and painting plastic arts in the adapted TV series White Deer Plain.The core of the TV series is the expression of images.The sound languages,lens languages and modeling languages in the TV series have been cleverly conceived and elaborately designed,with high aesthetic level,which has also become the model of other TV series released at the same time.This paper attempts to summarize the differences and similarities between film and television and literature,and discuss the inherent regularity of TV drama adaptation,with a view to providing more theoretical guidance for the later adaptation of literary classics.Finally,the conclusion part analyzes the gains and losses after the adaptation of the TV series White Deer Plain,gives some cold thinking on the TV series White Deer Plain,puts forward its improvement,and analyzes the reasons why the TV series White Deer Plain has won the public praise but not the market,and puts forward feasible suggestions.
