The "Xian Bo Zhi Shi" is a novel of notes in the late Ming dynasty.The writer who name is Wen Bing,his word is Sun Fu,and he is Ming dynasty bachelor Wen Zhenmeng's son.He is a member of the Donglin party,and he was born under the patronage of an official.After the fall of the Ming dynasty,he lived in seclusion,and did not work for the Qing dynasty.He named himself “the remains of the bamboo wood”,and tried to resolve the sadness of losing the country through the history compilation."Xian Bo Zhi Shi” is divided into two volumes.The first volume mainly describes the historical events from the wanli period to the fourth year of the apocalypse,including the struggle over the origin of the nation,the case of banishment,the case of war,the case of hongmaru and the case of palace movement.The second volume mainly describes the five years from the apocalypse to chongzhen two years,including the Wei Zhongxian's political chaos and chongzhen emperor against the case of historical events.Although Wen Bing compiled history shackled by The Times,his works show the value of historical materials cannot be ignored,this paper is also through “Ming history”,“The Que”and other books on the school analysis,to discuss the “Xian Bo Zhi Shi” historical material content of the authenticity and supplementary to the official history.The first chapter of this paper focuses on the late Ming dynasty,mainly expounds Wen Bing's life,the background of the book,the outline of the edition and the writing intention of the book,to preliminarily analyze the significance of Wen Bing and the book.The second chapter analyzes the value of the historical materials of "Xian Bo Zhi Shi" It simply analyzes the value of the historical materials of "Xian Bo Zhi Shi" through the correction of “The history of Ming Dynasty”,the supplement to “The history of Ming Dynasty”,the mutual verification with the historical materials of “The history of Ming Dynasty”,the comparison with other historical materials and the deficiencies of "Xian Bo Zhi Shi".The third chapter analyzes the narrative features of "Xian Bo Zhi Shi" and further expounds the historical value of "Xian Bo Zhi Shi" by studying the style of "Xian Bo Zhi Shi",simple analysis of the historical sources of "Xian Bo Zhi Shi",and the way of "Xian Bo Zhi Shi" how to cut out historical materials and combine narration with historical criticism.
