Historical Records of Zhao Aristocratic Family is an important historical material for studying the development of Zhao Aristocratic Family. It mainly records the history of Zhao Aristocratic Family's ancestors who went to Jin from Zhou, developed from family of Jin State to independent princes, and was finally destroyed by Qin Dynasty. As one of the seven states of the Warring States Period, the Zhao State, founded by the Zhao's clan, played an important role in the history of the Pre-Qin Dynasty. In modern times, with the increasing development of Archaeology in China,a large number of new materials such as bamboo books, silk, currency, weapons and seals related to Zhao State have been discovered, which provides important reference material for the study of Zhao State history.By collecting and sorting out unearthed materials and research results as well as combining with the historical records, this paper makes a new proof of Historical Records of Zhao Aristocratic Family in order to give a further study of Zhao's history from five aspects: lineage, chronology, capital cities, territory and events.First of all, dialectically analyses the disputed lineage relationship and controversial chronology recorded in Historical Records of Zhao Aristocratic Family according to archaeological materials such as Houma League Book,Tsinghua Bamboo Slips,Shiben,Banboo Annals,Guoyu and Zuo Zhuan. The textual research shows that Zhao Su is the father of Zhao Shuai,Zhao Huanzi is the son of Zhao Xiangzi,Zhao Xianhou is the descendant of Zhao Xiangzi, and there are Zhao dog generation and Zhao Wugong generation in Zhao genealogy. Also that Zhao Jianzi died in 18 th year of Lu Aigong(477 BC),the first year of Zhao Xiangzi was the 19 th year of Lu Aigong(476 BC),and Zhao Huanzi was in power for thirteen years.Secondly, according to the archaeological excavation of ancient cities including Jinyang and Handan in recent years,as well as the records of handed-down documents such as Hanshu Geographical Records,Shuijingzhu,Yuanhe Records of Prefectures and Counties,it proves Jinyang,Geng,Zhongmou,Dai and Handan, and concludes that the route of moving capital of Zhao is Jinyang-Geng-Zhongmou-Dai-Zhongmou-Handan.And then, according to the changes of city ownership and the construction of the Great Wall recorded in HistoricalRecords of Zhao Aristocratic Family, and combined with archaeological investigation,it finds out the process of the change of Zhao State's territory, analyses the starting point and trend of the Great Wall in the north and south of Zhao State, summarizes the reasons and characteristics of the changes of Zhao State's territory.Last but not the least, enriches and corrects the records of Historical Records of Zhao Aristocratic Family on the Xiagong calamity, the battle of Jinyang and the battle of Changping according to archaeological materials such as the Silk Book found in the Third Mawangdui Han Dynasty Tomb,The Stories of Spring and Autumn,Han,old book Wei Zhang,Wu Wen unearthed from Yinqueshan,Linyi,Shandong Province, and the Yunmengshuihudi Qin dynasty Bamboo slips Chronicles.According to textual research, the difficulty of going out to the palace occurred in June of the17 th year of King Jinggong of Jin(583 BC),which was triggered by "the Oracle of Meng Ji" and did not affect the whole Zhao Aristocratic Family. The battle of Jinyang lasted for three years, and the outbreak of the war was closely related to the conflict between Zhi and Zhao family's development strategies. The battle of Changping lasted three years, and the death of surrendered soldier at Zhao State should be within 100,000.
