One of the most important categories of causative structures is caused-motion construction, which reflects the fact that under some direct influence or action of a causative subject, the subject changes its position and moves along a certain path.Based on the corpus of central China normal university and the Corpus of Contemporary English in the United States, this paper makes a comparative study of chinese-english causative mobile sentence patterns and finds that:There are 8 types of caused-motion sentence structures in Chinese, namely NP1+marker+NP2+VP,NP1+marker+NP2+PP+VP,NP1+PP+VP+NP2,NP1+VP1+NP2+PP+VP2,NP1+VP1+NP2+VP2,NP1+VP+ NP1+VP,NP2+VP+NP1+VP,NP2+VP+VP.There are four types of English causative mobile sentence structures, namely NP1+VP+NP2+PP,NP1+VP+NP2+VP,NP1+VP+NP3+NP2,NP2+be+VP+PP.Thus it can be seen that Chinese caused-motion sentence patterns have obvious causative markers. However,English causative mobile sentence structure is relatively simple without causative markers. In terms of the internal semantic elements of causative mobile sentence patterns, there are six types of causative mobile sentence patterns in Chinese and five types of causative mobile sentence patterns in English, among which the most typical causative types in Chinese and English are living individuals.Chinese and English causative moving verbs can be divided into physical force causative moving verbs, behavioral force causative moving verbs, verbal force causative moving verbs, psychological force causative moving verbs and general force causative moving verbs. The difference is that the Chinese caused-motion sentence is more strict with the incoming verb. The analysis of caused-motion sentence patterns in Chinese and English shows that the two sentence patterns are semantically similarCaused-motion sentence patterns in Chinese and English are roughly the same in semantics, and the differences are mainly reflected in their structural types. The reason lies in the fact that Chinese grammar is mainly expressed by word order and function words, and people's cognitive psychology of causative mobile events is different in real life.
