This paper analyses the data of China Family Panel Studies(CEPS)in the academic year 2014-2015 from the perspective of data mining.Because the students'scores collected come from 112 schools,but each school uses different exam papers and has different full scores,the students'scores are not comparable.This paper chooses individual factors and family factors as variables,takes school ID as stratified variables,and uses Cox stratified regression model to analyze the influencing factors of middle school students'academic performance in mathematics,Chinese and English.The results show that the effects of each factor on the academic performance of the three sciences are similar but not identical:Girls'academic achievements in various sciences are higher than boys';The degree of exertion and parents'divorce are negatively correlated with the academic achievements of middle school students,while self-education expectation,self-confidence and parents' educational level are positively correlated with the academic achievements of middle school students.Whether it is an only child or not has no significant correlation with the academic achievements of middle school students.The students'academic achievements in various sciences from middle-class families are higher than those from poor families and wealthy families.However,after adjustment by other variables,the students' academic achievements in various sciences from middle-class families are still higher than those from wealthy families,there is no significant difference in students'performance between middle-class and poor families.The percentage of coefficient change before and after entering the model was further examined to examine the impact of household economic conditions.In addition,there is a positive correlation between attending the Olympic Mathematics Counseling Class and middle school students'math academic performance.The boys who attend the Olympic Mathematics Counseling Class have better math academic performance than the girls who attend the Olympic Mathematics Counseling Class.The boys' math academic performance is more prone to extreme situations.There is a significant correlation between the number of extra-curricular books at home and the reading habits of parents after work and the Chinese academic achievement of middle school students.There is a significant correlation between reading habits and English academic performance of middle school students after attending English tutorial classes and parents' work.According to the results of the model analysis,this paper puts forward some suggestions from the aspects of family,middle school students,government and school.
