Feature And Evolution Of The Eye Pattern Of Humanoid Jade

In this paper,the purpose of the humanoid jade from the Neolithic period to the end of the qing dynasty is studied.The purpose of the humanoid jade is compared with that of different dynasties in the history of Chinese jade.Finally,the characteristics of the purpose of the jade jade in each dynasty are analyzed,and the development and evolution rules of the purpose of the jade jade in the history of Chinese jade are summarized.From the Zhahai real-jadeware of the earliest Neolithic period,the jadeware history of ancient China began until the end of the feudal autocracy of the qing dynasty.This time,countless of plain or exquisite humanoid jade articles were unearthed.From the Neolithic age to the Zhou dynasties,the eye pattern of the humanoid jade was in "the shape period".The patterns of the eye pattern in this period were very detailed,and the representative ones were "kernel-shaped eyes" and " word-Chen eye".They depict the inner and outer canthus and eyeballs of the humanoid jade,which have a realistic sense of majesty.During the Han and Tang dynasties,the eye pattern of the humanoid jade was "the spirit period".The pattern of eye in this period were characterized with freehand brushwork.The representative ones were "fairy eyes" in the Han dynasty and "Buddha eyes" in the Tang dynasty.The "fairy eyes" of Han dynasty originated from the Zhou dynasty.It was a kind of half-closed eye without depicting the eyeball,rendering the immortal spirit of jade people.The eye of Buddha statue was a feature of the Tang dynasty,whose influence continued until the Ming and Qing dynasties.During the Song,Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties,the eye pattern of the humanoid jade was in “the spiritual-form period”.The jade objects could not only depict the eye shape in line with the Oriental aesthetics,but also accurately express the mood and characteristic of the jade people.During the Song,Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties,the typical human eye was "Danfeng eyes",which depicted the dynamic features of the eyelids in a very delicate way.The evolution of human eye patterns on jade articles in the whole history of ancient China is the result of the continuous improvement of the social productive forces,as well as the performance of the spiritual culture in ancient China.And the artistic methods of these eye pattern of the humanoid jade in ancient Chinese,also has the great inspiration to the modern jewelry design.Modern jewelry design should reflect the design of social culture and people's concern,rooted in the design of the people,or it will be derailed with the time,oblivion in the flood of history.This paper designs a brooch with the style of three generations of ancient times,named "God in the Stone Age",which symbolizes the spiritual core of "mistery-jade " from the neolithic age to the Zhou dynasties.
