In the first half of the 19 th century,Russian art and culture gradually developed and matured,and the creation of romantic songs entered a prosperous period."Art songs in Russia are called" Romance ",transliterated as "Romance",from the Spanish "Romance" refers to lyrical songs and lyrical music.In Russia,the word"Romance" has been used as the name of a vocal genre accompanied by Musical Instruments and combined with poetry.[Hao Ying,"on the characteristics of Tchaikovsky's art songs and singing",master's thesis,2008] Russian romantic songs have a long and broad melody,profound ideological connotation,rich harmony changes,and melancholy sentiment.As one of the greatest Russian composers of the period,Tchaikovsky made an outstanding contribution to the genre.Compared with the traditional writing techniques in Western Europe,Tchaikovsky boldly innovated in the aspects of singing melody,harmonic mode,musical structure and piano accompaniment,etc.With his unique style of "firewood style",he became the treasure of romantic music.He created many excellent romantic songs full of Russian national characteristics.Through his romantic songs,Tchaikovsky presented his creative ideas and emotional experiences in different periods.According to the differences in the style characteristics of Tchaikovsky's romantic music,his music creation is generally divided into three stages:The early(1866-1877)writing style is bright,warm,full of vitality,subject matter is also mainly optimistic sunshine.Beautiful melody,rich and varied harmony,although not as mature as the middle and late works,still has a high artistic value.Represent as full of folk style lullaby.For the piano accompaniment of the early romantic songs,we should touch the keys gently,not too heavy to play,the tone is warm and soft,and play out the youthful vitality contained in the song.The middle period(1878-1885)was a productive period for Tchaikovsky.With the help of madame meck,Tchaikovsky could fully devote himself to the creation of music.As the technique of composition became more and more mature,his works emerged in an endless stream.The dramatic conflicts of the mid-stage romantic music are increased,and the role of the piano is further enhanced.The perfect integration of the piano and the vocal music is achieved.The technical difficulties in accompaniment should be overcome,the score should be read accurately,and thedramatic conflicts of the mid-stage works should be expressed through the diversity of timbre.In the late period(1885-1893),Tchaikovsky's life was no longer stable and comfortable after his relationship with madame meck broke down in 1890.The late creation revealed a strong melancholy temperament,expressing the memories and reflections on life.In the simple and simple melody,what reflect is the desolate and miserable heart,representative work has "again lonely" and so on.The piano accompaniment of late works should pay attention to the grasp of style,and the sound should be played firmly and steadilyThe paper is divided into three chapters.The introduction mainly describes the research significance and purpose of this paper,the existing research results and the research methods of this paper.Chapter one: discuss the general situation of Russian romantic music and interpret the artistic characteristics of Tchaikovsky's romantic music.Chapter two: first is the introduction of Tchaikovsky's life,and then discusses the creation and style of Tchaikovsky's romantic songs in the early,middle and late periods.And from each period to select a representative song according to the creation background,song structure,lyrics and piano accompaniment processing four aspects to carry out a specific analysis;Conclusion: a summary.
