The "authenticity" of this paper is firstly a kind of perspective, which is the analysis and exploration of the "truth" in painting art.At the same time,"authenticity" in this paper refers to the degree of unification between the reality of real life and the reality of art.Taking Chagall as an example, this paper discusses how he explored and expressed "reality" through painting art.Chagall painting has broken the conventional visual experience, get rid of the bondage of the rule of objective reality and perspective, trying to express a more profound "real," he always believe that people can find through the counter intuitive schema interpretation of the real world,so,at first glance although Chagall works is irrational scene collage and illusory dreams, but real is his spiritual world. His paintings did not lose themselves under the impact of various thoughts of modernism, but more firmly pursued their own artistic path under the guidance of their true selves, sought the answer of painting, and explored the "authenticity" of painting. In Chagall 's paintings, the surreal space beyond nature, the irrational image, the soulful color, the relaxed and free expression,as well as the feeling of romance, dream, mystery, poetry, surprise, rhythm and freedom for the audience, are all true expressions of their own inner world. In order to express this "reality",Chagall made a lot of attempts, and finally presented himself to the world with a unique face, which not only brought mysterious and dreamlike feeling to the audience, but also brought endless reveries to the audience.Chagall 's painting art is not only of great ornamental value, but also of strong national culture and personal feelings. He is not only a warrior who explores the "reality" of painting, but also a master who expresses the human spirit through painting.
