In the early twentieth century,the psychologist Freud put forward in the psychoanalysis theory: "Human behavior is mainly dominated by the subconscious." In his view,the artists’ creations originate from their daydreams,which are driven by current events.Induces and evokes deep unsatisfied memories.And this fantasy is traceable,which is closely related to the artist’s past life experience.Freud’s subconscious theory had a great impact on later art and modern aesthetic thought.Subsequently,the role of subconscious theory in art has gradually become a focus of attention.This essay takes the subconscious mind as the perspective,and uses Marc Chagall as the research object on the basis of previous studies,according to the "dreaminess" in his paintings.Systematically explore the spiritual connotation of Chagall ’ s dreamy paintings,and then further analyze the hidden ideological connotations in Chagall’s paintings from the outside to the inside,and try to interpret the subconscious symbolic symbols and visual formal language contained in his works..While admiring Chagall’s dreamy paintings,I hope to provide a new perspective for everyone to further understand his works.The main body of the article is divided into four parts: the first chapter mainly explains the related theories of the subconscious and its essential meaning;the second chapter focuses on the background of the generation of the subconscious in art,discusses its creative function in artistic creation,and Looking for traces of the subconscious in early art;Chapter 3 transforms the spiritual emotions surrounding Chagall ’ s inner world into visual image works,combining the emotions of the subconscious in Chagall’s dreamy paintings and the subconscious elements contained in the paintings.,An in-depth analysis of the subconsciousness in Chagall’s dreamy paintings;Chapter Four explores the value of Chagall’s dreamy paintings from the perspective of the subconscious from the influence and inspiration of Chagall’s painting style on Chinese and Western art.From the perspective of art psychology,this article combines the subconscious factors revealed in Chagall’s paintings,deeply explores the importance of subconsciousness in Chagall’s dreamy paintings,and attempts to transform the aesthetic perspectives of simple forms in the studies of works into more Pay attention to the hidden meanings and subconscious emotional elements behind his paintings.
