Affected by such problems as poor teaching facilities,unreasonable teaching arrangements,lack of Chinese textbooks,and difficult communication between teachers and students,the development of Chinese education in Northeast Thailand is slow.The wide use of social networks,the timeliness of information transmission and the diversity of communication methods provide new ideas for solving practical problems in Chinese teaching.This research combines theoretical foundations such as constructivist learning theory,mobile learning theory and mixed teaching model to provide theoretical support for social network platform assisted Chinese teaching.And through the questionnaire "Current Situation of Chinese Teaching in Northeast Thailand",we can understand the actual problems of Chinese teaching in Northeast Thailand in more detail,and further demonstrate the universality of the existing problems,making this study more practical.In view of the large user group of social software Facebook overseas,and the survey shows that Facebook is the main social networking platform for Chinese teachers and students in Thailand,Facebook was chosen as the tool of use.As a result,a questionnaire was issued to students in three middle schools in Northeast Thailand,"Intention of middle school students in Northeast Thailand to use Facebook to assist Chinese teaching".The results showed that students' subjective intentions tended to use Facebook to assist Chinese language teaching.Therefore,under the circumstance of satisfying the material foundation and subjective wishes at the same time,the teaching practice of the application of Facebook to the elementary Chinese comprehensive course in Northeast Thailand was launched.Using the mixed teaching model of "classroom teaching+after-school social network assisted practice",a one-semester teaching experiment was conducted on the experimental class.Studies have shown that Facebook's application in the comprehensive Chinese course in Northeast Thailand effectively improved the students' Chinese learning performance.The actual effect is mainly reflected in three aspects.First,it solves some of the problems in Chinese teaching in Northeast Thailand.Second,it enriches the current Chinese teaching model and extends the length of Chinese language learning.Third,it promotes the establishment of good teacher-student relations.Promote the enthusiasm of students in the subject.
