| As the last Jataka story in Pali Jataka Sutra,the JATAKA story of Prince Vessntara has vivid plots and characters,which has been passed down to this day in Southern Buddhism.However,in today’s Chinese Buddhism,it is rarely seen.As far as the story of Vessntara is concerned,Southern Buddhism focuses on the influence of this story on literature and folklore in Southern Buddhism,in Chinese Buddhism,the research is mainly focused on the intertextuality of grotto images and language text as well as the transmission of images and texts.The article emphatically start from the text and the content of the story,sort out the scripture,the translated version and the popular literature,and take the plot as the foothold,combining the difference between Buddhism and Confucianism,analysis of the story in China’s spread process.This article is divided into three parts:The first part: The edition and nature of the six degrees collection,mainly on the basis of previous studies focused on the "liu du ji jing " date of the book and the nature of "compilation".The second part: The textual collation and textual research of the Vessntara.This chapter,based on the previous chapter,carding the translations of the sacred text,corrects and classifies the confusing entries in the previous catalogs and draws firm conclusions,while in previous research,to collate and record the valuable Russian archives.The third part: The spread of the story of Vessntara.This chapter is the centerpiece of the whole thesis.On the basis of the first two chapters,the text and type of the story,the plot and the theme,as well as the story in the South and the Chinese Buddhism spread of different circumstances to do a collation,comparison and analysis,to explore the story in the Han Culture in the spread of the reasons for the decline. |
